<div class="job-description-body__internal job__external js-job-description-body-internal"><p><b>Job Description:</b></p><p><b>Job Description: </b></p><p>Japan Equity Transaction Management team provides operational support to various Equity Global Sales & Trading desks for institutional clients trading across Japan and global markets.<br>The team is primarily responsible for post trade processing such as trade allocation, booking and confirmation for institutional clients.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities: </b></p><p>- Post trade processing such as trade allocation, booking and confirmation for institutional clients trading in Japan and global equity markets.<br><span> </span>- Ensure trades are booked accurately in a timely manner.<br>- Investigate and resolve all trade exceptions and reconciliation.<br>- Legal<span> </span>confirmation generation and delivery<br>- Application of ETF creation and redemption<br>- Client static set up including onboarding new clients/trade flows and setting up new accounts.<br>- Engage in ad-hoc projects and initiatives including liaison with internal and external counterparties globally.</p><p></p><p><b>Requirements: </b></p><p>- Strong quantitative and analytical skills<br>- Ability to work under pressure while adhering to tight deadlines<br>- Strong team player and ability to work well independently and collaboratively with peers and stakeholders<br>- Attention to details and the ability to process tasks accurately and in a timely manner<br>- Control focused with a good understanding of risks and the impacts of errors<br>- Proficient in using Excel and other MS applications<br>- Business level in written and spoken English / Japanese<br>- Background in Securities Operations is preferable<br><span> </span></p><p></p><p><b>Other Qualifications:<span> </span></b></p><p>∙ Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions<br>∙ Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward<br>∙ Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs - is a continuous learner<br>∙ Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.<br>∙ Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to better serve an evolving client base<br>∙ Believes in value of diversity so we can reflect, connect and meet the diverse needs of our clients and employees around the world</p></div>
